Xtreme Hold’em is a card game that uses a standard 52-card deck. Xtreme Hold’em is similar to traditional poker except it features head-to-head play against the dealer (players do not compete against each other) and optional bonus wagers.

Learn how to play this game below! The object of the game is to beat the dealer by making the best five card poker hand by a player using any combination of their two cards and the five community cards in the center of the layout.

The player begins by making an Ante wager and Xtra Bonus wager, in equal amounts. Optionally, the player may also place a Player Bonus wager. Additional wagers such as Hole Card Bonus, Player Bonus and 5 Card Stax Progressive. Each player is then dealt two cards face-down. The dealer also receives two cards facedown.

After examining their cards, the player may place a Play wager equal to three or four times the Ante (3× – 4×), or else check. Three cards are then dealt face up as community cards. If the player has not placed an Play wager, then they may now place a Play wager equal to twice the Ante (2×), or else check.

If the player has already placed a Play wager, no further action is required or allowed. Two more cards are dealt face-up as community cards. If the player still has not placed a Play wager, then they must now either place a Play wager equal to the Ante (1×), or else fold and forfeit their Ante and Xtra Bonus wagers.

Note, the Player Bonus, Hole Card Bonus and Progressive wagers remains active, regardless of whether the player plays or folds their main wagers. All cards are then revealed, and all wagers are resolved.

The Ante, Xtra Bonus, and Play wagers are evaluated by comparing the player hand and dealer hand. Both player and dealer make the best 5-card Poker hand they can using any combination of their two individual cards and the five community cards. If the dealer has at least a Pair, the dealer is said to “open.” If the player beats the dealer, and the dealer has opened, the Ante wager wins and pays 1 to 1. If the dealer does not open, or if the player and dealer tie, the Ante wager pushes. If the player is beaten by the dealer and the dealer has opened, the wager loses.

If the player beats the dealer, the Play wager wins and pays 1 to 1. If the player and dealer tie, the Play wager pushes. If the player is beaten by the dealer, the wager loses. If the player beats the dealer, the Xtra Bonus wager wins or pushes and pays according to player hand, as given in Table below. If the player and dealer tie, the Xtra Bonus wager pushes. If the player is beaten by the dealer, the wager loses.

The Player Bonus wager is resolved based on the player’s hand only, regardless of dealer hand. If the hand is a Three of a Kind or better, the wager wins and pays according to hand, as given in Table 2. Otherwise, the wager loses.

The Hole Card Bonus wager is resolved based on the first two cards dealt to the player. If the cards satisfy one of the qualifying conditions, the wager wins and pays according to highest eligible scenario, as given in below Otherwise, the wager loses.

Progressive payout will be based on the customer’s two card and the first 3 community cards and payout is based on the below paytable.
